What Clean Sense IQ and DuoClean do
Shark says Clean Sense IQ detects dirt you cannot see and raises cleaning power to suit, so the machine is doing some of the mode switching for you. The floor head is a DuoClean design with two motorised brush-rolls in a single head, intended to move from carpet to hard floor without changing attachments.
The head is also listed with Anti Hair Wrap, and the features list mentions LED lights, which help pick out debris under furniture.
Battery, runtime and charging
Runtime is quoted at up to 60 minutes, but the footnote is important: that figure applies in ECO mode with a non-motorised tool. With the DuoClean head running on carpet, expect less. The battery charges either on the vacuum or on its own, and the spec table lists a charge time of four hours.
