Hard floors and wet cleaning
Soft roller heads pick up fine dust and larger debris from wood, laminate, vinyl and tiles without scattering it. Wet and dry machines vacuum and wash in one pass.
A soft roller head, often called a fluffy head, traps fine dust and does not flick crumbs ahead of it. It is gentler on wood and laminate than stiff bristles.
Wet and dry floor cleaners spray clean water onto a spinning roller and suck the dirty water into a separate tank. Many self-clean the roller on the dock. Check the clean and dirty tank sizes in litres and whether the floor can take water: unsealed wood generally should not get wet.
