Shark's cordless range is easier to understand once you know the building blocks. Most models share the Flexology wand that bends to reach under furniture, a removable battery and some form of Anti Hair Wrap brush-roll. The differences sit in the floor head and the sensors. DuoClean heads use two brush-rolls for carpet and hard floor in one pass, FloorDetect changes brush speed by floor type, and the Detect family adds sensing for dirt, edges and the direction you are pushing. This guide compares three current Shark cordless sticks on maker runtime, bin capacity, listed weight, floor head and sensing features, using only what each listing states. Shark's runtime figures are quoted in ECO mode with a non-motorised tool, so plan on less when the main floor head is fitted.
