The ProHygienic Aqua is Bosch's most cleaning focused Unlimited 7. It is built for hard floors that need more than a wipe, with a DynamicAqua head that scrubs using two rotating pads while it vacuums. Bosch also calls it its most flexible vacuum, thanks to a 180 degree hinge. Buyers with allergies may note the HEPA filter system, which the earlier Aqua model does not highlight in the same way.

Our take
How the DynamicAqua head works
Bosch describes it as a hybrid: strong suction combined with two rotating pads that work on dust, dirt and stubborn stains in the same pass. Rotating pads press and move against the floor, which is the difference from a flat damp cloth dragged behind a nozzle.
For carpets there is the AllFloor DynamicPower brush, with integrated LEDs and the same motor of up to 66,000 rpm used across the Unlimited 7 line. Bosch quotes 99.9 percent dust pick-up for that brush.
Hinge, hose and reach
A 180 degree hinge helps the machine turn, and Bosch says the flexible hose lets you reach under furniture without bending over. That puts it alongside the Shark Flexology models and the Bosch Flex Tube sticks for low sofas and beds.
The listed dimensions are 131.5 cm high, 25.2 cm wide and 20.3 cm deep, so it is a full length stick rather than a compact one.
Filtration and what the listing leaves out
Bosch lists a HEPA filter system with 99.97 percent filtration and extra clean exhaust air, and says it is suitable for allergy sufferers. In the box you get a damp brush, a mattress nozzle, a joint nozzle, a long flexible crevice nozzle, a 2-in-1 furniture and upholstery brush, a docking station, a charging cable and a replaceable battery.
Several key figures are missing. The listing does not state runtime, battery capacity, weight or dust box size, only a battery charge time of 5 hours. Check these on the Bosch product page before committing.
Next to the Unlimited 7 Aqua and Shark PowerPro
The Bosch Unlimited 7 Aqua BCS71HYGGB also vacuums and mops in one pass, with a published 40 minute runtime and 2.9 kg weight, but its Aqua head does not mention rotating pads.
The Shark PowerPro is a dry only stick with a folding Flexology wand and a 0.7 L bin, better suited to carpets.
Verdict
The ProHygienic Aqua makes sense for homes with large areas of tiles, vinyl or sealed wood where sticky marks are common, and for allergy sufferers who want a HEPA system. If you want published runtime and weight figures before buying, the Unlimited 7 Aqua BCS71HYGGB is the safer Bosch choice, and a carpet heavy home is better served by the Shark PowerPro.
