# Best cordless vacuums for hard floors Source: https://wandandfloor.co.uk/best/best-cordless-vacuums-for-hard-floors Publisher: Wand and Floor. Picks are based on what the Amazon listings state, not on hands-on testing. Method: https://wandandfloor.co.uk/how-we-pick Hard floors look easy to vacuum, but they show every speck of dust and they punish the wrong head. A stiff-bristled carpet bar can flick crumbs and grit across laminate instead of picking them up, and hard bristles running over trapped grit are not ideal on a soft wood finish. Most makers now offer a soft roller head for hard floors: a wide cylinder covered in soft fabric or felt that grips fine dust and pushes larger debris into the airflow. Lights on the head help too, because they show the fine dust you would otherwise miss. This guide compares seven sticks on the hard floor head supplied, head lighting, maker runtime, bin capacity and listed weight. If you want to wash as well as vacuum, see our wet and dry guide instead. ## Products ### 1. dreame Z20 Aspirapolvere Senza Fili, Aspirazione da 250 AW, Tempo Massimo di Funzionamento 90 Min, Filtrazione HEPA H14, Tecnologia di Rivelazione Della Polvere,Regolazione Automatica dell'aspirazione Hard floor head: Soft roller; Lights: Yes, CelesTect; Runtime: 90 min; Bin: 0.6 L; Weight: 2 kg A 2 kg Dreame with a lit soft roller and a lit multi-surface brush, so hidden dust on hard floors shows up. Good to know: - The 60 minute figure is in ECO mode with a non-motorised tool, so floor-head runtime is shorter. - The listing names a cartridge filter rather than a HEPA grade. ### 3.
